Around 1913, teenagers who were about 15 years old produced a newsletter for the Jewish community, or at least for the teen community.  This edition has survived and thanks to Martha Andrus the first page has been transcribed -see file here.  Many of Knoxville’s Jewish families who were here in the early years of the 20th century lived in the McKee neighborhood (McKee ran from Vine Avenue to Clinch Avenue). 
Ben Winick was the father of Barbara Winick Bernstein.  Isadore Finkelstein was the great uncle of Pam Brody.  While J B Corkland was the father of Myra Corkland Weinstein, we do not know if “Rabbi A B C Corkland” was a real person.
