Milton Collins Day Camp (MCDC) Staff

Brian DeBolt, Camp Director

My name is Brian DeBolt. I am the proud camp director at the Jewish Community Center. I have had the privilege of being part of the Jewish Community for over 20 years.  Although I am not Jewish, this is my home.    I have lasting friendships that cannot be matched because of the family the center has given me .  I started at the center in 1997 and have gone through the ranks as the years passed.  For the only three years I was not at MCDC, I was blessed with the opportunity to be the camp director at the Jewish Community Center in Charleston.  I held that position for 3 years, and then I was called to come back home.

I am one lucky dad.  I get to have both of my kids with me all summer at camp.  It truly brings tears to my eyes watching them interact with staff and doing the same activities that I did with my campers when I was a counselor.  I am also one of the Supervisors of the pool in the summertime.  This helps me keep a close eye on the pool to make sure it is safe and clean.

In the off season, I am a teacher at Hardin Valley Elementary School.  I also coach soccer and was a part of the robotics club.  When I am not working I enjoy playing soccer and working on my car.

I am so very happy you have chosen to look at our camp.  I know I love it and I hope you will too.

Sarah Price, Assistant Camp Director

Sarah began working at Milton Collins Day Camp in 1998 as a counselor.  During the school year, she teaches Biology at Hardin Valley Academy. Her two sons now love to attend MCDC.
