Executive Director

Knoxville Jewish Alliance 6800 Deane Hill Dr SW, Knoxville TN

About our organization:
The Knoxville Jewish Alliance (KJA) is a dynamic and inclusive organization dedicated to serving
and strengthening the Jewish community in the greater Knoxville, Tennessee area and throughout
the world. KJA is a single organization that oversees both the Arnstein Jewish Community Center
and our local Jewish Federations of North America affiliate. We are a unique organization that is
successful, thriving, and financially solvent. KJA supports Israel and teaches our community about
Israeli culture, art, history and society. We lead our community’s collective community relations and
advocacy efforts, and secure and maintain the resources we need to be protected and safe. We work
to support the success of all of our community partners and organizations – recognizing that we are
our strongest together when we are also strong individually.

Our programs for children and families include a preschool, summer day camp, and BBYO. We
oversee Hillel at the University of Tennessee for college students. Through Jewish Family Services,
we provide a variety of resources to support individuals and families. Our 25,000 square foot
facility on 13 acres in West Knoxville houses the Allen Rosen Aquatic Center with tennis courts, an
outdoor swimming pool and a fenced baby pool; a gymnasium, meeting rooms, a stage, community
