Honoring our past.
Paving our path to the future.
Programs like the Arnstein Jewish Community Center's preschool and summer camp are instrumental in creating continuity, and providing safe, education, and fun experiences within (and beyond!) the Knoxville Jewish community. Past generations of students and campers fondly recall memories created on the AJCC's playground.
And today, that playground needs your help.
We have an immediate need to replace our aging playground equipment to ensure that our preschool remains a certified, safe, and fun environment for its students - today, and for future years.
“From Generation to Generation...”
Adam and Angie Brown and Family have generously agreed to a matching gift to ensure this campaign's success. Every dollar raised up to $25,000 will be matched two-for-one. The new playground will be lovingly dedicated in Logan Brown's memory.
$1 becomes $3
$25 becomes $75
$72 becomes $216
$500 becomes $1500
Your support of this effort ensures Logan's memory will shine brightly for generations that follow.
Help us reach our $90,000 goal by May 31!
This amount will enable us to not only purchase the equipment we desperately need, but also make additional new improvements and fully realize the vision for the new playground. We must order the equipment, prepare for the construction and break ground by the end of July to ensure that the playground is installed and ready for use during the 2019-2020 school year.
Any donation of $100 is eligible to receive a Pathway Paver, customized with a message to memorialize an individual, honor a group, etc. These bricks will be placed around a new bench area immediately adjacent to the playground, and also across the grass from the memorial plaque honoring Gordy Brown, Logan’s grandfather and Adam Brown’s father.
*If you donate $100 or more online, someone from the KJA Office will contact you about having a brick engraved.
