Although the doors of the AJCC may be closed to all except our preschool, the KJA continues to serve the wider community through virtual programming for children, young adults, seniors and the community at large.

Jewish Family Services continues to be a resource to those in the community who need assistance.

Dear KJA Members and Friends,

Our current operating status (updated 12-2020) is as follows:

  • At this time the AJCC building remains closed to everyone except staff, students, and necessary maintenance personnel and services, BUT the office remains open to email and phone calls. Please let us know how we can assist you. If you are in need of assistance please contact Jewish Family Services director Laura Berry at lberry@jewishknoxville.org. Ed Hunter remains available for billing-related questions at ehunter@jewishknoxville.org. Ed and Laura are working hard to return all emails and phone calls. There are currently no meetings, classes, or rentals at the AJCC.

  • The AJCC facility will remain closed to outside activities/rentals until further notice.

  • We are monitoring COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines weekly; notifications are subject to change based on that guidance.
