The University of Tennessee is large compared with our small Knoxville Jewish Community.   Students come from 100 countries and all fifty states and provide a diversity of backgrounds, experiences and expectations, making the life of of local Jewish college students interesting, challenging and vibrant.

Fern and Manfred Steinfeld Program in Judaic Studies


The University of Tennessee at Knoxville offers an interdisciplinary Judaic Studies major and minor as well as several scholarships to support student learning including the Dr. Rubin P. Robinson Scholarship in Judaic Studies and the Fern and Manfred Steinfeld Scholarship in Judaic Studies.  Hebrew language, both modern Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew, are offered at the University of Tennessee of Knoxville.
