College Students

The University of Tennessee is large compared with our small Knoxville Jewish Community.   Students come from 100 countries and all fifty states and provide a diversity of backgrounds, experiences and expectations, making the life of of local Jewish college students interesting, challenging and vibrant.

Judaic Studies Program

The UTK Judaic Studies program is interdisciplinary, including Biblical and Modern Hebrew; Jewish literature, poetry; visual art, music, the religious framework of Judaism (ex. holidays, life-cycle events), history and the politics of the Middle East.

UTK Jewish Students Organization

UTK Hillel is a student-run University recognized Student Activity Group.  Our small size allows Hillel to provide opportunities for developing leadership, planning, marketing, communication, and grant writing skills.
