Something new is always being created in Oak Ridge, and the Oak Ridge Civic Music Association (ORCMA) captures this creative spirit with a regional premiere of former Knoxville Symphony Orchestra maestro Lucas Richman's Symphony: This Will Be Our Reply," said Music Director Dan Allcott, The performance will be Saturday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m. at the Oak Ridge Performing Arts Center in the High School, 1450 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

The Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra & Chorus join forces in this piece that Richman described as "a call to heal the world."  It was written in response to Leonard Bernstein's speech, “An Artist's Response to Violence."  The piece will be sung in Hebrew and anyone interested in joining the Oak Ridge Chorus is invited and encouraged to contact the ORCMA Office at (865) 483-5569 or office@orcma.org.
