1990s Russian Resettlement Project

The Way We Were in the 1990's

During the 1990’s, members of the Knoxville Jewish community helped resettle 81 Russian immigrants, helping them with housing, language, employment, acculturation, and more.  Pictured above are a welcome dinner from November of 1994 and two photos of English language instruction.
